It can even scan passports and booklets up to 5mm thick, capturing the MRZ zone of the passport and saving in Excel compatible formats. The DS-C490 also comes with a host of enhancement features, enabling you to improve text sharpness, as well as correcting edge folds, tears, border shadows and punch hole removal. The inbuilt Ultra-sonic sensor eliminates double feeding ensuring peace of mind that all pages are captured. Plus scan to Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
